Education Committee

The Education Committee is responsible for planning the educational sessions at the following:

  • Colorado Municipal League Annual Conference (June)

  • Colorado Institute for Municipal Clerks (July)

  • Annual Conference (October)

  • Masters Academy Sessions (Various dates throughout the year)

  • Professional Development Outreach (April - October)

  • Distance Learning Webinars (year-round)

 

The committee is responsible for:

  • Identifying educational content for various conference and workshops

  • Obtaining speakers, presenters, and panelists

  • Arranging for required materials and audiovisual equipment for sessions

  • Working with the Institute Director, CML, and the Annual Conference Committee to establish educational programs

  • Working with the Curriculum Coordinator to establish PDO sessions

  • Reviewing policies, procedures, guidelines, and regulations governing the activities of the committee and recommending applicable updates and changes to the Executive Board

  • The Chair and Vice Chair serving on the Annual Conference Committee and Site Selection Committee
